Daily Healthy Recipe

This recipe is great for gastric bypass patients and diabetics.  So go ahead and enjoy yourself…induldge.

 

Sweet-zza”:

Ingredients: (Makes 4 servings)

  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 2/3 cup low-fat ricotta cheese
  • 4 English muffins, split in half
  • Pizza toppings, choose 3: Thinly sliced apples, pears, pineapple, peaches, plums, nectarines, berries, bananas, tangerines

Directions:

Mix applesauce and ricotta cheese together, and spread evenly on the open halves on the English muffins. Then, put toppings on the muffins in a single layer. Heat your oven to 400 degrees, and cook for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. YUM!!!!!
